(8:54:31 PM) Mary: So yeah. Who knows where that will go. I don't feel like making the 1st move, so am wondering how to return apparent interest without being that awkward.

(8:57:29 PM) Sarah: yeah, don't know the situation enough. I always just invite them to do things to get to know them, and flirt and then once I'm sure they're interested I get them drunk and take advantage of them. I'm classy!

(8:58:16 PM) Mary: haha. well with the last guy I just flat out said "so, wanna make out?" He later described his reaction as a "full-on panic attack." So I am not sure I should make the first move, next time.
(8:58:52 PM) Mary: he was kinda stunned, then ignored it at first and went back to talking, and I was like "that doesn't answer my question."
"Here? In the bookstore?"
"Not necessarily."
Panic attack ensued. He then started violently pulling his sock.
